A Bronx teen told police officers he became "taking part in round and smoking weed" together with his buddies, passing round a gun he concept wasn't loaded when he fatally blasted his buddy within the chest, authorities said.
Steafon Lewis, 19, was arraigned Saturday on manslaughter and weapon possession fees within the curiously unintentional killing of Ackeem Davis, 17, inner the slain formative years's Bronx condominium.
Lewis advised police that the gun, a .380 caliber revolver, belonged to Ackeem's brother, based on a criminal grievance.
"We pulled the set off just a few times, and it went 'click on,'" Lewis said, in response to the complaint. "I didn't realize it turned into loaded."
